    As students are appearing the final exams for their classes, it is the time of the year when the search for new schools take place! There are hundreds of school in Kathmandu, but very few that do international curriculum. If you are in search of international education for your children and have a huge pot of money to spare, check out these 5 schools in Kathmandu.
    1) The British School Kathmandu

    TBS is a fee-paying, not-for-profit, independent, international school delivering the English National Curriculum with sixty full time UK recruited staff (including the Principal). The school accommodates students from Foundation 1 to A Levels. The International Primary Curriculum is followed alongside National Curriculum Mathematics and English from Foundation 1 to Year 6. Cambridge International Examinations and Edexcel syllabi are followed for IGCSE and A Level examinations (CIE is a part of the UCLES Examinations Board).

    2) Rato Bangala School

    The school is accredited by the Nepal Government’s Ministry of Education and by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES). Rato Bangala students graduate with the Cambridge GCE A level degree. They sit for the mandatory government examinations: the district level examinations in the eighth and the SLC(School Leaving Certificate ) in the tenth grade and selected IGCSE subjects also in the tenth grade and move on to the two year A Level programme conducted by Cambridge International Examinations. www.cie.org

    3) Premier International School

    Premier International School is the very first IB PYP School in Nepal teaching the Primary Years Program. It is also a candidate school for the IB MYP Program.The school started off with only the first grade in its year of inception, and after eight years now it has gradually upgraded till grade VIII, one class at a time, with a target of reaching the IB Diploma Program by the end of the year 2018.
