    Throughout Nepal, you can find a lot of entertaining things that attract both national as well as international tourists. Almost everyone might have thought about that trip to Mustang or bungee jumping in their teens; rafting, mountaineering and much more. Nepal offers so much that the list goes on and on. But recently, an amazing experience for everyone has been made available in the city of lakes, Pokhara. The city never stops amazing people with the wide range of entertainment facilities, budget-friendly hotels and much more. And now, you can sail over those beautiful lakes and adore the natural beauty in a colossal hot air balloon.
    On the 17 th of November, hot air balloon service was inaugurated commercially in Nepal. The launch was a great success as hundreds of people gathered around the balloon and were amazed when it left the ground. According to the sources, Balloon Nepal Pvt. Ltd. initiated this form of tourist entertainment in Pokhara after getting the authorization from the Civil Aviation of Authority. The hot air balloon service is said to be worth of Rs 15 million. However, the service needs proper weather conditions to be conducted safely. Taking such things into consideration, a professional pilot has been called from India as the Nepali crew operating it are not taking any risks.
    While taking about the cost of this flight, the Nepalese people can ride the balloon at around 11,000 Rs per flight and for a tourist, it costs around $160. The time period per flight may vary accordingly.
    The Chief Minister of Gandaki Subba Gurung and the secretary of Balloon Nepal Prabin Maharjan are confident that the new attraction will surely boost the overall tourism of Pokhara. They hope that the city becomes a ‘must go’ for tourists because let’s face it, who doesn’t want to take an experience of a lifetime with the sight of gorgeous mountains and shiny lakes from the sky?
